February 12, 2013- HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO THE GUY I LOVE MOST IN THE WORLD! With our busy schedule, celebrating on the day of wasn’t an option, so we celebrated 3 days in advance. It was a fun filled day of driving, eating, surprises, and good times. We started off the day at Boon Fly for brunch, we’ve been there for a previous anniversary and we loved it so much we decided to go back…the place never disappoints. Next Drew took me to the Artesa Winery where we enjoyed 5 tastings and a variety of chocolate. I wanted some cheese too but having just eaten, it wasn’t a good idea. The wine and the view was very pretty and I wouldn’t mind going back. We made a pit stop to Bouchon’s bakery in Yountville where I picked up 3 macaroons and Drew enjoyed a salted caramel latte. Then it was off back home to the house for an hour of resting before heading off to the city. In the city I was surprised, after a week of pestering and fluttering eyes, to be told that we were going to get my anniversary present (which I thought was already purchased). To my dismay, my present was something I never thought I would get in a long, long time, a MacBook Pro=). Drew hinted me that it would be something that would make me cry and something I had been asking for, but since I always say I want something, it was hard to guess, plus, I didn’t think a MacBook was an option considering how pricey it is. After a lot of convincing from Drew to me to just accept his present, we finally made it to dinner at House of Prime Rib. It’s House of Prime Rib, what more can I say, of course it was good! Drew finished his plate like the champ he is and we ended dinner with a free sorbet to celebrate 9 years of togetherness. After 9 years, this guy still makes me crazy, and I always think to myself how I could love one person soooo much. Cheers to the next 100+ plus years, Love. I love you more and more everyday <3.
